Law of Casuality Character

The character is a collection of value that lead into a system, which underlies signified thinking, attitudes, and behaviors. He also states that the term character has two meanings. First, it shows a person’s behavior. Second, it shows a person’s personality. (Simon Philips, 2011)
Law of casuality. In this world something happen because there a thing arising therefrom. Law of casuality happen too in Indonesia’s education. As we know that Indonesia’s education is not good (but not bad too, in my opinion). Why I said ‘not good’? Our education is not service with character. Overstat cognitive ability, and unless use affective ability. Be many who make sure their knowledge but forget about their character. In Indonesia, students spend the day in school about 8 hours. At 6 o’clock they go to school, and they’ll be home at 14 o’clock. And a hour then, they attend a course until 17 o’clock. It’s indication, teacher catch many attention to student who has awkward age. Reason why teenagers has a bad attitude it’s because what they ever see and listen isn’t good. So, we need who can be a real teacher as necessary. Then, according to Ajat Sudrajat (2011:140) there are ten thing can school applied: wisdom, justice, fortitude, self control, love, positive attitude, hard works, integrity, gratitude, and humility.
Some group think, Indonesian’s education overstat worldliness. Untill we forget about our religion. Other group think, Indonesian’s education overstat the left of brain. Finally, there are many people has an achievement even so a bad attitude too. Martin Luther ever said “Intelligence plus character.. that is the goal of true education”. Not only that. Daniel Goleman mentioned that 80% of success determinable of EQ, 20% determinable of IQ. In this statement stand-out, that character prescriptive people success on his education.
Our education must happen on aspect cognitive, affective, psychomotorict. In other word, student always act about our culture and the real character of pancasila. With 200.000.000 citizen, if our character is bad, what will be Indonesia tomorrow.
